(a)- an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, physics, and engineering

(b)- an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

(c)- an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, in the corresponding field of specialization

(d)- an ability to work efficiently as an active member of a multidisciplinary team

(e)- an ability to identify, formulate, and solve problems in Telecommunication Engineering in the corresponding field of specialization

(f)- an understanding of ethical responsibility in the professional engineering practice

(g)- an ability to communicate effectively (in oral and written forms) both in Spanish and English

(h)- the broad education necessary to understand the social and economic aspects of engineering solutions

(i)- the required background to take full benefit from studying for a master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, along with a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning

(j)- a knowledge of contemporary issues in the practice of engineering as a profession

(k)- an ability to use the techniques, skills, and engineering tools related to Telecommunication Engineering practice, in the corresponding field of specialization
