IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - COVID-19 

Due to the health alarm caused by Coronavirus and following the Goverment's indications, the UPM is periodically issuing communications that affect the normal development of the School.

Among these communications are those being published by the Vice-rectorate of Academic Strategy and Internationalization regarding the situation of mobility caused by COVID-19.

You can consult all of them by clicking here. It is recommended to make a periodic consultation.

We highlight the following aspects:

For outgoing students:

  • SEPIE's recommendation to contact the Embassy or Consulate for any doubt or query, as well as to be in contact with the International Office (guidelines document).
  • We would like to emphasize the importance for those of you who choose to stay in your destination to keep in permanet contact with us for any incidence or consultation you may need to make. On the other hand, for those of you who decide to return, you can count with the total support of the University both in the academic and economic aspects, where help will be available to cover the prejudices caused.

For incoming students:

  • Suspension of the face-to-face activity at the University. The teaching activity is still maintained in on-line format, trying to keep the particularities of each subject, so the semester is not paralyzed. (communication from the Vice-Rector of Academic Strategy and Internationalization).
  • The University supports all students who decide to return to their countries.
  • We will try to put all the means to facilitate the development of the activity in remote in the period of suspension of the presential teaching.
  • Materials and support (online tutorials) will be provided so that students can develope their training activity remotely.
  • The evaluation of the subject is ensured remotely by means of at least a final evaluation with the students in their University of origin.

During the whole time of this crisis, the International Office will provide its services on-line via e-mail. Likewise, a Skype account has been set up for those who request it via e-mail can contact us, previously stating the procedure to be carried out.
