There are numerous titles and certifications of languages which gives their holders a certain acknowledgement of a particular language. The tests that must be overcome to obtain such titles or certificates may emphasize the different aspects such as oral or written expression, grammar, etc ... so it is very complex to establish a clear equivalence between them.

The equivalence tables presented below should be understood, therefore, as mere indications without, in any case, can be used as exact reference.

In these tables it is used as a reference for comparison the so-called Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

As for the levels of the Official School of Languages, applicable are indicated according to R. D. 1629/2006.
