Insurance

We remind you that it is the student's responsibility to verify the accuracy of their insurance details and to check that they meet the requirements. The insurance must be valid for the entire duration of your stay at the UPM.

Please send a copy of your insurance policy to the ETSIT International Office.

Insurance requirements

The insurance must cover at least the following: medical assistance, accidents, repatriation, hospital expenses and civil liability. 

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has taken out an insurance policy for incoming and outgoing students. This insurance covers medical expenses, material damage, accidents and civil liability, among other things. You can find more information on the Oncampus website: www.oncampus.es (estudia).You will then receive a confirmation email with two PDF documents: the proof of purchase and the policy. Please forward this email to the ETSIT International Office as soon as you receive it. 

The European Health Insurance Card is highly recommended, although it is not valid as the sole form of insurance as it only covers part of the requirements.

As UPM student, you will have access to all resources offered by the UPM Library (Biblioteca UPM), and in particular those offered by ETSIT-UPM Library (Biblioteca ETSIT-UPM).
