The Final Degree Project (TFG) is a work carried out by the student under the direction of a tutor, whose objective is the application by the student of the knowledge acquired, of the accumulated experiences, of his gifts of creativity and originality and from their personal skills to solving real problems, developing ideas, models or prototypes, carrying out technical studies, etc. All of this within the thematic scope of the Degree.
The TFG constitutes, to a certain extent, the first group work experience of the student, on a professional basis, serving as a synthesis and culmination of their studies and allowing them to acquire new knowledge and experience in the process.
In the study plan of the Degree in Engineering and Data Systems, the TFG is one more curricular subject located in the last year of the degree with a dedication of 12 ECTS. But unlike the rest of the subjects, the student must register the TFG for it to be approved by the School's Academic Committee as a step before it can be defended. Enrollment can be done in the periods established by the academic calendar of the University.
