We are pleased to inform you that the Women for Africa Foundation has just launched its annual call for the Learn Africa Program 2022.
Since the program’s inception in 2013, 250 female African students from 34 countries have benefited from a Learn Africa scholarship. This has been possible thanks to the commitment and dedication of a wide network of 50 partners, including Spanish universities, two business schools, two training centers in Morocco, and several sponsors and donors.
For the past two years, the Learn Africa Program had to focus almost exclusively on the online training modality due to the travel and gathering restrictions imposed worldwide to curtail the spread of the pandemic. Coinciding with the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Women for Africa Foundation, the program is now back with a training offer broader than ever, combining three different training modalities: face-to-face, online and blended (hybrid). Young African women can apply for a total of 76 scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year at Spanish universities, in a wide range of academic areas and at different levels (master's, doctorate, research stays, expert courses and others), as well as undergraduate and master's studies in two educational centers in Morocco in face-to-face mode. Scholarships’ coverage varies depending on the teaching modality.
All the information on the call, as well as the steps to follow to apply for a scholarship and the requirements for each course are available on the Foundation's website. The application process will be open until April 26, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (Madrid time).
